Neonatal Intensive Care: It’s reassuring to know that AAMC’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is designated as a Level III+ NICU, which means that the unit provides care for the most critically ill of newborns. The Breast Center: AAMC is one of a handful of hospitals nationwide to have a stand alone breast center whose resources are focused exclusively on the care of women with breast cancer. Among Breast Center physicians are surgeons with national prominence, whose credentials and expertise place them at the forefront of advances in breast cancer care.
