AAMC Campus Growing to Offer More Services

When Anne Arundel Medical Center opened the doors of its new hospital in December 2001, we celebrated the long-anticipated transfer of hospital services from downtown Annapolis to our spacious new medical park. But that transfer was not the end of our growth. This year will see the beginning of several new projects that ultimately will expand services and add more parking. These new projects mean temporary changes to your parking options at AAMC.

  • Construction of a new 400-space garage at the Wayson Pavilion(A) began this winter on the site of the pavilion’s former parking lot. Several physician practices and AAMC’s Blood Donor Center are located in the Wayson Pavilion(B). Parking is available in the Acute Care Pavilion (ACP)parking garage(C), diagonal to the Wayson Pavilion.
    Completion: End of 2007.
  • Construction to add 200 parking spaces to the existing Sajak Pavilion garage(D)is scheduled to begin this spring.
    Completion: End of 2007.

AAMC is guided by our strategic plan called “Vision 2010,” which oversees expansion of our campus, all the while keeping us focused on our patients, our staff, and our health care programs. Our top priority is to always provide you with the highest level of patient care.

Parking Made Easy

Access to parking at AAMC is made simple: Patients may park in our covered parking garage with easy access to all of our pavilions and services, or use the free valet service located in front of the Main Hospital entrance or by the Donner Pavilion.
