Faster than a Beating Heart

AAMC is pleased to offer our patients the latest evolution in Computed Tomography (CT) technology.

The Siemen’s SOMATOM Definition Dual Source CT is located at Anne Arundel Diagnostics, Suite 100, in the Sajak Pavilion. The 64-channel CT has two X-ray sources, offering faster exams for patients and providing physicians with the finest details in crisp, clear images.

The dual source 64-channel CT takes cardiac images quickly enough to keep up with the beating heart, and without the need for beta blockers. The exam is completed in half the time. “We are so excited to have the Dual Source CT because it gives our patients an exceptional level of care,” said radiologist George Odell, M.D. “It’s a one-stop diagnostic tool that means fast results.”
