AAMC Nurse Scholars

Anne Arundel Medical Center is proud to have a long history of excellent patient satisfaction, even before such items were measured so carefully. AAMC’s nursing care is responsible for much of that great reputation.

The Anne Arundel Medical Center Foundation has awarded 11 scholarships to outstanding employees to help them advance their clinical education. The grants were presented at the Nursing Celebration Dinner sponsored by Sheehy Auto Stores. The scholarships are endowed through donations to the AAMC Foundation from individual and corporate supporters.

Grant to Train Nurses

Anne Arundel Medical Center has received a three-year, $298,000 grant to expand nursing education and provide additional professional support to new nurses. The Project Advance Grant Program will enable AAMC to continue to award scholarships to those entering the nursing field, and to current nurses who want to advance their education.
