Smoke-Free Campus

No Smoking Symbol

Beginning July 1 , the campus of Anne Arundel Medical Center began to phase out all smoking areas on campus, with the goal of becoming completely smoke-free by January 1, 2008. Until then, the designated smoking areas will be contained to outside the Emergency Department, the Acute Care Pavilion (main hospital) garage, and the Sajak Pavilion garage.

AAMC offers free smoking cessation classes and individual counseling sessions for adults and teens through the AAMC Wellness Center. Courses begin Monday, Nov. 12, 6-7:30 p.m., and Thursday, Jan. 10, 6-7:30 p.m. There are seven classes in each course.
