Winter 2008 Excellence in the NICU NICU Nurse Cheryl Briggs with her Excellence in Nursing Award. AAMC’S Neonatal Intensive Care unit (NICU) has received an “Excellence Through Insight Award” for amazing patient satisfaction in the “Inpatient—Intensive Care” category from the health care market research company HealthStream Research. The excellence awards recognize hospitals that excel in gaining insight into their patients, employees, physician and community through research and use that information to build excellence within their organization. Cheryl Briggs, an AAMC neonatal intensive care nurse, has received the Excellence in Neonatal Nursing Practice Award for 2007 from the Academy of Neonatal Nursing. This prestigious award celebrates excellence in neonatal nursing practice. |
