Fall 2008 AAD Earns “Breast Imaging Center of Excellence” Anne Arundel Diagnostic Imaging (AAD), the outpatient imaging service of Anne Arundel Medical Center, has been awarded Maryland’s first “Breast Imaging Center of Excellence” accreditation by the American College of Radiology (ACR). AAD was the first diagnostic center in the region to adopt digital mammography and the first in Maryland to earn voluntary stereotactic accreditation in 1996. The AAD radiologists reading our patients’ tests all are board certified physicians and experts in their field.
