East Meets West

A long-awaited milestone in the expansion of Anne Arundel Medical Center’s campus was reached in the fall with the installation of a covered walkway over Medical Parkway. The walkway connects the east campus (Sajak Pavilion and the Ambulatory Services Pavilion, under construction) to the west campus (main hospital and the Clatanoff, Donner, Edwards, and Wayson Pavilions). It will take pedestrians across Medical Parkway to a stairwell/elevator that will lead to the sidewalk on Medical Parkway.

Parking Updates

To provide convenient parking for our patients and their families, AAMC has transferred most employee parking to an employeeonly parking lot during Monday- Friday day shifts. There is ample patient parking available in all garages. There are elevators on all floors of our garages to transport you to your destination.

Highlights of Our Campus Expansion

  • A new, expanded emergency room, with a special pediatric emergency room and inpatient unit.
  • A new hospital tower featuring 50 additional patient rooms.
  • Nearly 3,000 new free garage parking spaces.
  • A new rooftop helipad.
  • A Health Sciences Institute located in the new Ambulatory Services Pavilion.
  • More physician offices and services
