Joseph D. Moser, MD, is senior vice president for medical affairs at Anne Arundel Medical Center. As senior vice president, a position he has held since 1996, Dr. Moser supports medical staff activities and leadership initiatives, oversees the medical staff office, credentials office, performance improvement, outcomes data analysis, patient safety, pharmacy, coding and health information services. He also serves on the administrative executive board and strategic planning board.
Prior to his present position, he was in private practice in obstetrics and gynecology from 1975 to 1996. He served as chief of obstetrics and gynecology for four years from 1986-1990, and as medical staff secretary-treasurer and then vice president from 1990-94. He was president of the medical staff from 1994-96.
A native of Washington, D.C., Dr. Moser received his medical degree from the University of Maryland in 1972.« Back to Executive Biographies
