Since 1986, AAMC health resource nurses have managed more than one million calls. Our caring, compassionate staff of registered nurses has more than 100 years of telehealth experience. Before becoming health resource nurses, they worked in emergency care, pediatrics, medicine and surgical hospital units.
When you call, our nurses listen to your concerns and work with you to:
identify and evaluate your symptoms
provide medical information so you can make an informed decision
recommend next steps, and if necessary, make a referral to a doctor*
guide you to a wide range of community programs, including wellness program, alcohol and drug abuse treatment, health education seminars, fitness activities and more.
