Have a sick child?
Question about your tummy trouble?
We’re open every day to answer your health questions, give advice, and guide you to AAMC services to help you live healthier. As part of the Wellness and Health Promotion Department, you may also see us at community events, taking blood pressures, giving flu shots, or providing educational seminars.
Experienced nurses as your resources.
Since 1995, AAMC health resource nurses have managed more than one million calls. Our caring, compassionate staff of registered nurses has more than 100 years of telehealth experience. Before becoming health resource nurses, they worked in emergency care, pediatrics, critical care, mental health, medicine and surgical hospital units.
When you call askAAMC at 443-481-4000, our nurses listen to your concerns and work with you to:
- identify and evaluate your symptoms
- provide medical information so you can make an informed decision
- recommend next steps, and if necessary, guide you to local health care
- guide you to a wide range of community programs, including wellness program, alcohol and drug abuse treatment, health education seminars, fitness activities and more.
