In 2015, the Rebecca M. Clatanoff Pavilion, where Anne Arundel Medical Center's women and infant services are located, underwent a renovation. An updated and more contemporary environment now welcomes patients and families.
The renovation included a variety of new and updated amenities, such as refurbished mother-baby and labor and delivery units in the newly renamed Thomas J. Frank Family Birth Center; new family waiting areas on the second and third floors of the Frank Family Birth Center; a redesigned and repositioned main staircase for better security; and an updated main lobby.
The year 2015 marked the Clatanoff Pavilion's 20th anniversary, and a celebration was held on September 12, 2015 at the newly refreshed facility. Patients, families and staff came together to celebrate memories and friendships made at AAMC and the Clatanoff Pavilion, posing for photos for the "biggest baby book" ever and enjoying activities such as face painting and obstacle courses.
