At the Rebecca Fortney Breast Center, the individual patient and their family is at the center of everything we do. Our team of multiple cancer specialists work seamlessly to ensure our patients are receiving the most advanced and personalized care. The team includes specialists in medical and radiation oncology, surgery (including breast and plastics reconstruction), radiology, pathology, psychiatry, oncology nursing, rehabilitation/lymphedema, genetics, nutrition, clinical trials, tumor registry, genetics and social work.
We use the most advanced digital imaging, including 3D mammography and breast MRI. Board-certified radiologists, with special training and interest in breast imaging, interpret every mammogram. We have been accredited by the American College of Radiology as a Womens' Center of Imaging Excellence.

Nurse Practitioners & Physicians Assistants
A coordinated team of professionals handles your care at The Breast Center, from initial contact through annual mammograms or necessary treatments. Physician assistants and nurse practitioners manage patient care throughout the surgical phase of treatment. Then patients are followed on an ongoing basis including clinical exams and breast imaging.

Our board-certified, fellowship-trained surgeons specialize in all types of breast surgery, including plastic and reconstructive surgery and offer a full range of surgical services to treat cancerous and non-cancerous breast tumors.

Our program starts with pre-habilitation and includes physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech language pathologists, nurses, nutritionists, and social workers. They all focus on improving quality of life for cancer survivors.

Treatments are administered by specialty trained oncology nurses working with the medical oncologists in our patient and family focused, outpatient center. The Oncology Nursing Society’s standards, which guide our nursing care, ensure that we practicing at the highest standard of oncology nursing care. Scheduling is flexible to ensure patients have easy access to the care they need.
