What is the Breast Cancer Rehab Fitness Program?

Breast Cancer Rehab is a new program offered at AAMC to promote a healthy lifestyle of exercise after being diagnosed and treated for breast cancer. The program includes two days per week of exercise under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or exercise physiologist or both. Education also is included and will be held once per week in addition to the exercises.

How much does it cost and how long is the program?

The cost is $150 for the entire six-week program. There is no extra cost for the education.

Where is the program located?

Breast Cancer Rehab is located in the Donner Pavilion, 2nd floor.

What are some of the topics included in the education classes?

• Exercise for Breast Cancer
• Healthy diet
• Stress and relaxation
• Fatigue/managing activities for daily living
• Humor and hope
• Menopause changes/sexuality
