Energize Group Fitness FAQs

In an effort to better assist our participants and instructors, please review the following frequently asked questions for your convenience. Please respect your fellow class participants by arriving on time and turning your cell phone off during class.

Q. How do I register?

A. Please click the Register Now button on the top of page which will take you to a short form. After completing the form, you will receive a confirmation email with a 1 page release and 1 page payment form to be completed.

Q. Do I sign up for a specific class on the schedule?

A. No, all of our classes are ongoing so you can attend any class you prefer.

Q. How do you keep track of my participation?

A. You will be asked to print your name legibly on our sign in sheets located in each classroom prior to the start of each class. Please cooperate as this is how our instructors get paid.

Q. How long is my 10-class card good for?

A. It’s good for any 10 classes up to 1 year from the date of purchase.

Q. Do I need to complete a new release form each month or each time I purchase a new class card?

A. No, you only need to complete the release form once.

Q. How do I renew my class card?

A. You will receive an email following your 7th and 10th class with instructions on how to conveniently purchase another class card.

Q. Are workshops included in the group class pricing?

A. No, please check the detailed workshop schedule for dates, class times, locations, and any applicable fees.

Q. If I want to pay by check, who do I make my check out to?

A. Evolve Wellness Systems. This is our local collaboration partner who manages the Energize wellness program for AAMC.

Q. Will my credit card be charged automatically each month?

A. Only if you are an EZ pass client.

Q. How do I cancel my energize EZ Pass?

A. If for any reason you aren’t happy with the classes, or you simply need a break, please send an email to energize@aahs.org and we’ll process your cancelation request. As long as we receive your request at least 7 days prior to the date of your next scheduled credit card charge, you will not be charged any additional payments. Please note that refunds are not retroactive. Employees who use our payroll deduction service will be charged one more payment from the date of the cancelation request.

Q. What is the refund policy?

A. Whether you purchased an Energize EZ Pass, a 10-Class Card, or a drop-in class, you are eligible for a 100% refund on your purchase within 7 days from the date of your initial purchase. Please send an email to energize@aahs.org to request your refund. Unfortunately, no refunds will be processed retroactively.

Q. Can I drop-in to a class?

A. Yes of course. Please note that our instructors do not carry change so you are advised to pay by check or credit card. You will also need to complete the one page release form prior to class.

Q. If I prefer to only attend as a drop-in participant, do I need to complete the release each time?

A. No, we only need one valid release on file.

Q. Who can take advantage of AAMC employee pricing?

A. All AAHS staff, their immediate family members, contractors of AAMC campus, all Auxilians and volunteers to AAMC, employees at all medical offices affiliated with AAMC and any medical office tenants on campus.

Q. . What is the inclement weather policy?

A. When the weather insists on interrupting the daily operation of our classes, we will use the following as our standard policy for cancelling classes:

Classes scheduled before 9am are cancelled.

2 Hour Delay

Classes scheduled before Noon are cancelled.

Closed

All classes are cancelled.

1 Hour Early Closing

Cancel after School Activities

Q. Do classes run on holidays?

A. In most cases, no. Here is a list of holidays we observe. Please note that if a holiday falls on the weekend, it will be observed in accordance with the local government offices:

Q. What should I bring with me?

A. Wear comfortable clothes, athletic shoes, water, a towel and a mat if you prefer your own. We do have mats and fitness accessories like hand weights and stretch bands in the classroom.

Q. Can children or minors participate?

A. Only children aged 13-17 can participate and only if accompanied by his or her parent/guardian (guardian must be 18 years of age or older). Parents must fill out this waiver before their children can attend.
