An important part of our expansion plans is to create additional parking to accommodate ongoing needs and future growth. Parking is free and most parking spots are or will be in covered garages. When AAMC’s expansion is complete, there will be more than 4,000 spaces on campus.

Parking is available at the following locations:

Sajak Pavilion Parking Garage: Complete
This 850-space garage is attached to the Lesly and Pat Sajak Pavilion, which is home to Anne Arundel Diagnostics, the AAMC Breast Center, the AAMC Diabetes Center, AAMC’s Auxiliary’s Clothes Box and the offices of many medical staff physicians. There are entrances from the Sajak Garage onto four levels of the pavilion. Parking is free.

Acute Care Pavilion Parking Garage: Complete
The Acute Care Garage is a 700-car, multi-level parking facility attached to the Acute Care Pavilion. This pavilion houses the main hospital patient rooms, diagnostics, Emergency Department, operating rooms, family lounges and gift shop, among others services. Parking is free.

Wayson Pavilion Parking Garage: Complete
This 450-car garage is located behind the Wayson Pavilion. This garage provides convenient parking for patients visiting physicians’ offices in the Wayson Pavilion, as well as for patients visiting the AAMC Geaton and JoAnn DeCesaris Cancer Institute in the Donnor Pavilion, the AAMC Infusion Center and Cardiac Rehabilitation. Parking is free in this garage.

Ambulatory Services Parking Garage: Coming February 2009
This new garage will house 950 spaces and be adjacent to the new Ambulatory Services Pavilion, which is scheduled to be complete in May 2009. This pavilion will house a Health Sciences Institute, as well as physician offices and other diagnostic services. Parking will be free in this garage.

New Parking Garage: Coming Fall 2009
As part of our expansion project, plans are underway for a new 1,200-car parking garage to be located behind a new acute care pavilion, which will house 50 additional patient beds and eight new operating room suites, allowing us to care for more than 6,000 additional patients each year. Parking will also be free in this garage.

In addition, valet parking is available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Valet parking is located at the Acute Care Pavilion front entrance.
