The morning after your surgery, you are helped to your feet, out of your hospital gown and into casual clothes. You’re not sick; after all, you’re on your way to recovery and an active life again!
You become a part of the Center’s encouraging environment that involves group physical therapy, lunch in the clubhouse with staff and fellow patients, training with family members, and even a 10-minute massage the day before discharge.
Armed with information, your guidebook, and a family member or caregiver trained as your “coach,” you return home, generally on the third day following surgery. You are ready to embark on your journey through rehabilitation and back to a better quality of life.
