Mammography Screening Controversy

In this edition of the AAMC Health Connection Podcast, Barry Meisenberg, M.D., the director of the AAMC DeCesaris Cancer Institute, helps listeners navigate the latest mammography recommendations of the U.S. Preventative Services Task Force.  The recommendations have left many in the community with a number of questions and concerns, which Dr. Meisenberg addresses.  In addition, Dr. Meisenberg discusses how patients can improve the usefulness of the mammograms they receive, and provides an overview of what AAMC physicians and radiologists recommend with regards to screening mammograms.
