One-Stop Care for Acute Injuries

The Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Center, an affiliate of AAMC, has started a new program called OrthoTODAY. This new program offers extended hours of operation and fast access to orthopaedic surgeons – six days a week. A team of experienced orthopaedic specialists, nurse practitioners and physician assistants with support from radiology technicians, orthopedic technicians and bracing specialists provide care for patients with acute orthopaedic injuries that are nonlife-threatening:

  • Sprains and strains
  • Fractures and dislocations
  • Sports injuries
  • Muscle pain
  • Pediatric injuries
  • Foot and ankle injuries
  • Knee and hip injuries
  • Hand, wrist, finger, elbow, and shoulder injuries
  • Cast or wound dressing problems

Conditions not requiring same-day medical attention such as chronic problems, back and neck pain, second opinions and pain medication refills should be directed to the main office of OSMC at 410-268-8862.
