This article, authored by our own Dr. Michael Epstein (Am J Gastroenterol, Jan) concludes that “patient acceptability and tolerability for each item was examined by a standard questionnaire.  The success rate of the picosulfate and magnesium citrate (P/MC) was more favorable in the P/MC group than in the 2L PEG-3350 and bisacdyl tablets.  This dual-action, non-phosphate, natural orange-flavored low-volume preparation sodium piocuslfate and magnesium citrate (P/MC) is currently being reviewed for bowel cleansing.  (click here to read full-text)
