SAVE THE DATE!  The Annapolis Breast Cancer Genomics Conference

Carol Tweed, M.D., AAMC Oncology and Hematology
Date:  Friday, September 18th
Registration and Breakfast: 7:30 am
Presentations:  8:00 am – 4:00 pm

Pathologists and all other Health Professionals focusing on the management of breast cancer patients.
Program Description:  It is a challenge for today’s breast cancer clinician to keep pace with and fully understand the complex genomics data emerging.
As the worlds of molecular biology and clinical oncology coalesce, a clinician becomes a basic scientist and vice versa. This seminar will build on our first breast
cancer genomics conference, held in 2014, and will serve to update attendees on new genomics data that have immediate clinical relevance to the care of the
breast cancer patient.

We will once again incorporate case presentations into the seminar, which will help strengthen the attendee’s approach to cost-effective use of commercially available gene signature, next generation sequencing (NGS), and other genomic assays. New this year will be a comprehensive presentation that summarizes findings on the topic of breast genomics from national meetings such as the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium.
