(February 5, 2013)— Brooke Buckley, MD, FACS, has been appointed as new medical director of the AAMC Acute Care Surgery program, formerly called AAMC Surgical Hospitalists.

Dr. Buckley joined AAMC from Shore Health System in August 2012 as a surgeon with the AAMC Surgical Hospitalist program. Dr. Buckley brings a wealth of energy and leadership experience. She will lead the Acute Care Surgery premier program that provides the safe, efficient and cost effective treatment of emergent surgical pathology.
