ANNAPOLIS, Md. (July 19, 2012)— Maureen Fraser, RN, of Annapolis is now the director of the Breast Center at Anne Arundel Medical Center (AAMC). She will oversee the daily operations of the center, patient safety and satisfaction and regulatory compliance.

Fraser joined AAMC after serving as the practice supervisor at the Vermont Cancer Center at Fletcher Allen Health Care for four years. She is currently a member of the Northern New England Clinical Oncology Society, the Florida Association of Healthcare Quality, the Northern Vermont Oncology Nurses Association and the National Association of Healthcare Quality.

The AAMC Breast Center is an affiliate of Anne Arundel Medical Center and is nationally recognized for its outstanding care, research and comprehensive treatment programs as well as educational and prevention programs and screening services. Located in the Health Sciences Pavilion, the center is designed to be a warm inviting place where patients can feel as comfortable as possible as they receive treatment.
