Cardiopulmonary team at AAMC Monitored Exercise

Patients attend group exercise sessions three times per week and educational sessions. During exercise sessions, each patient's cardiac status, symptom management, and assessment with exercise are continuously monitored by telemetry. Regular progress reports are made available to the referring physician. Upon completion of the medically supervised exercise program, patients receive instruction on an individual maintenance exercise program.

Maintenance Exercise

These sessions held several times per week and offer continuation of group exercise in a maintenance program that is supervised by our highly qualified ACLS (advanced cardiac life support) trained staff.
