Skilled Staff![]() The staff at The AAMC Spine Center is specially trained and focused solely on spinal conditions. An interdisciplinary team comprised of your surgeon, nurses, physician assistants, physical and occupational therapist, care coordinator and discharge planner work together to ensure the best outcome. Every aspect of your care is coordinated with you and your family. In addition to a dedicated spine care coordinator who facilitates your care from pre-op to post-op, the AAMC Spine Center offers a comprehensive manual to help patients throughout their spine treatment. This guidebook is written by Spine Center staff and offers information about your hospital stay, as well as post-operative exercises and physical therapy and wellness classes offered at AAMC. Follow-up After you leave the hospital, our contact does not end. All patients invited to quarterly reunion luncheons where we ask for feedback regarding your experience at Anne Arundel Medical Center. This allows us to make any needed adjustments in making a great program even better. Philosophy of Care The AAMC Spine Center believes in a philosophy of care that generates an environment of excellence with patient and family education at the center of all activities. Volunteer program: Anne Arundel Medical Center has an active volunteer program. We encourage former patients to volunteer their time and share their experiences to help other spine patients recover. |
