Rebecca Clatanoff Pavilion Visitation PolicyCongratulations! The arrival of a new baby is a wonderful event and we know your family members and friends are eager to visit and share in your happiness. Please review and share our visitor expectations with them prior to your admission. In addition to one person identified by the mother as her birth partner, four other individuals may visit at any time once the patient is admitted. One person may accompany the mother in triage and one person may accompany her to the operating roomin the event of a Cesarean birth. In order to maintain an orderly, safe environment for our mothers and babies, if a visitor is asked to step out of the room to accommodate patient care, the visitor should proceed immediately and directly to the Clatanoff Lobby on the first floor of the Pavilion. Because of the size, activity of our units and privacy issues, visitors cannot be accommoated in the hallways of the units, nor should they be occupying the benches in the hallways. To protect our newborn babies from infections, children under the age of 12 who are not siblings of the baby may not visit our units at any time. Thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation! |
