Welcome to the Sleep Center at Anne Arundel Medical Center

Scheduling an appointment:

A sleep study requires a physicians order. Once your physician has ordered this test you may give us a call at 410-981-9164 to schedule your appointment. We have a 6 room Sleep Center and we perform tests 7 nights a week.

We want your stay to be comfortable and restful. Even though you are at the hospital our Sleep Center rooms are decorated to resemble a hotel room. We anticipate that you will have questions about what to expect when coming to the Sleep Center and what the sleep study itself involves. To help you prepare for your night we have provided you with this information to answer your questions. Should you have additional questions please call 410-981-9164, Mon-Fri, 8am 4:30pm. You may also reference the website below to watch videos and learn more about sleep disorders and what to expect during your night in the Sleep Center, www.SleepServices.net.

Cancellations:

While we realize appointments can not always be kept, we kindly request that you make every effort to keep your scheduled appointment. A sleep technician has been scheduled to conduct your sleep study and a room has been reserved for you. If you must cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask that you notify us as soon as possible (at least by 3:00 pm the day prior to your scheduled appointment).

Where do I go when I arrive?

Please see below for directions to the facility. Park in garage C, then report to the 1st floor information desk in the hospital. There is a gray phone labeled "Sleep Center," pick up the phone and inform the technician that you have arrived for your test. They will come down to greet you and escort you to the sleep center located on the 6th floor. If you or your family need to contact the sleep center the direct phone number is 443-481-4010.

Preparation:

On the day of your scheduled appointment we want you to maintain your normal routine so that you will be able to sleep during your study please be advised of the following.
