Gynecologic Oncology Surgery
AAMC’s Gynecologic Oncology Surgery team utilizes the most advanced treatment modalities to provide comprehensive care for women with gynecologic malignancies of the female genital tract. Our treatment philosophy emphasizes a multidisciplinary approach integrating surgery, chemotherapy and radiation therapy.
Surgery may include aggressive tumor removal and utilize laparoscopic and robotic surgical approaches. Our gynecologic oncology surgeons also coordinate patients’ care with a multidisciplinary team of specialists to provide the most comprehensive services.
In addition, our AAMC Gynecologic Oncology Center is dedicated to the diagnosis, evaluation, and treatment of women with gynecological malignancies. We offer a comprehensive program in the evaluation of precancerous lesions of the vulva, vagina, cervix and pelvic masses using state-of-the-art diagnostic and evaluative procedures.
