Neurosurgery
AAMC’s Neurosurgery team utilizes the most advanced treatment modalities to provide comprehensive care for patients with conditions of the brain, spine and nerves. Our surgeons specialize in all types of neurosurgery.
AAMC offers a complete range of neurosurgical services for the treatment of brain and spine tumors; disorders of the spinal cord; peripheral nerve disorders; pituitary gland disorders; and disorders of the autonomic nervous system, among many other conditions.
Surgical treatments we provide include skull base surgery, stereotactic radiosurgery, computer assisted stereotactic neurosurgery, disc replacement surgery, kyphoplasty, vertebroplasty, microdiscectomy and lumbar and cervical laminectomy and fusion.
Our neurosurgeons also coordinate patients’ care with a multidisciplinary team of specialists in areas such as Neurology, Neuro-oncology, Neuroradiology and Orthopedics, to provide the most comprehensive services.
