Urology
AAMC’s Urologic Surgery team utilizes the most advanced treatment modalities to provide comprehensive care for adult and pediatric patients with conditions of the urinary tract and the male reproductive system. Our surgeons specialize in all types of urologic surgery, including minimally invasive and robotic therapies for prostate, kidney, bladder and other urologic disorders.
AAMC urologists offer a complete range of surgical services for the treatment of cancers of the urinary tract (including kidneys, ureters, bladder, prostate, penis, urethra and testes), stone disease, urinary infections, incontinence, impotence, and infertility, among many other conditions.
Many of the surgical treatments we provide include brachytherapy (radioactive seed implantation), bladder and genitourinary reconstruction, robot-assisted prostatectomy, robotic partial nephrectomy, robotic pyeloplasty, laparoscopic radical nephrectomy, renal and prostate cryotherapy, penile prosthesis and minimally invasive procedures for incontinence and vaginal reconstruction.
Our urology surgeons also coordinate patients’ care with a multidisciplinary team of specialists as needed, to provide the most comprehensive services.
