AAMC’s Vascular Surgery team utilizes the most advanced treatment modalities to provide comprehensive care for patients with vascular disease.  Our surgeons specialize in all types of vascular surgery, including minimally invasive endovascular therapies.

AAMC offers a complete range of vascular surgical services for the treatment of atherosclerosis; carotid artery disease; peripheral vascular disease; aortic, renal, mesenteric, iliac, and femoral artery vascular disease; aortic aneurysms; popliteal aneurysms and venous disease.

Many vascular diseases, or problems affecting blood flow throughout the body’s blood vessels, result from artherosclerosis, the buildup of plaque that causes blockages in the arteries.  Since the treatment of vascular disease can involve many systems of the body, our vascular surgeons coordinate with a multidisciplinary team of specialists in cardiovascular diseases to provide comprehensive vascular care for our patients.
