Volunteering Opportunities in Shops and Offices

Our gift shops are completely managed by volunteers. All proceeds from these shops go to Anne Arundel Medical Center.

The Bayside Beacon

The Bayside Beacon, located on the second floor of the Health Sciences Pavilion, offers unique and charming items for sale, as well as cards, balloons, flowers, jewelry, children's toys and more.

The Beacon Boutique

The Beacon Boutique, on the first floor of the Hospital Pavilion North, carries gift items, necessities, cards, toys, baby items, plush animals, jewelry, candy and much more. Volunteers ring up sales, assist customers who make purchases, receive and fill phone orders, keep the shop clean, provide gift wrap service and sell flowers.

The Clothes Box

For more than 60 years, this unique consignment shop has served our community. Located on the first floor of the Sajak Pavilion, The Clothes Box features gently used, contemporary, in-season clothing and accessories. You can also find jewelry, household items, books and shoes.

The Portside Boutique

Housed on the first floor of the Hospital Pavilion South, sells many of the same items found in the Bayside Beacon and Beacon Boutique as well as the employee uniform store.
