Minimally invasive gynecologic surgery

The gynecologic surgeons at Anne Arundel Medical Center treat a broad range of women’s health conditions, including incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, uterine fibroids and polyps, endometriosis, pelvic pain and menorrhagia. Named the region’s “Best OB/GYNs” by What’s Up Magazine and the region’s “Favorite Docs” by Chesapeake Family, these surgeons are backed by multiple subspecialists, including gynecologic oncologists and urogynecologists from the Anne Arundel Medical Center Women’s Center for Pelvic Health.

The latest minimally invasive techniques

Since 2006, our gynecologic surgical team has used the da Vinci system a minimally invasive robotic method that offers an alternative to traditional open surgery and laparoscopic surgery for more complex procedures. With this state-of-the-art technique, we’ve helped countless women get the treatment they need, including hysterectomies and myomectomies, with faster recovery times, fewer complications and less pain and scarring.
