• Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab

Recovering from a serious health condition isn’t always easy, but rehab can help. If you have a heart or lung-related condition, our Outpatient Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Program can improve your physical and emotional health, fitness, and quality of life. Our team of specialized doctors, nurses and exercise physiologists will help you safely increase your physical fitness and achieve your goals.

    What you receive

Talk with your doctor to see if cardiac rehab is right for you. Before starting rehab, you’ll need a written referral. Once you enroll, we’ll guide you through our program. You’ll receive:

    • A complete health assessment
    • A unique rehabilitation program designed just for you
    • Medically supervised exercise
    • Education and counseling
    • Support from others facing similar challenges
    • A referral to our Health Education programs
    • A referral to a clinical dietitian
    • An exercise program to continue after you finish rehab

    Your medically supervised exercise sessions

Your care team includes your own doctor, along with our program’s medical director, registered nurses and exercise physiologists who specialize in clinical exercise. As part of our program, you attend group exercise sessions three times per week and monthly learning sessions. During those times, our team monitors your cardiac status, any symptoms you may have and your fitness level. We track your progress and share it with your doctor. Once you finish the program, you can continue by attending maintenance exercise sessions with our advanced cardiac life support staff. These sessions happen several times per week to fit your schedule and help you maintain your progress.
