In addition to the Match policy Code of Conduct, the Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center (LHAAMC) OB/Gyn Residency Program would like to address our policy on a few common questions around what communication applicants should expect from our program.
Does LHAAMC accept pre-interview communication from, or on the behalf of, applicants?
If I don’t receive an interview invite on October 28, 2022, what should I do?
If you are not offered an interview on October 28, you may be on the waitlist. All candidates will be notified of their final status by December 2, 2022 (Invited, Waitlisted, or Rejected).
How will the Waitlist work and how will I be notified if I am Waitlisted?
After initial invites are released on October 28, 2022, and candidates have had a minimum of 48 hours to respond, a waitlist will only be used in the case of unfilled interview slots. Should an interview slot(s) become available a notification will go out via Thalamus.
Does LHAAMC accept thank you notes?
Does LHAAMC expect a thank you note from me?
Does LHAAMC accept post-interview communication from, or on the behalf of, applicants?
Should an applicant expect post-interview communication from LHAAMC?
No. Unless you reach out with a specific question you should not expect any communication from LHAAMC after your interview.
Policy on In-Person Visits:
We recognize the importance of in-person visits; however, to provide all candidates a comparable Match opportunity we are not offering in-person visits.
Wishing all of you a constructive Match season!
